Who is braaiing tonight?

One tap. Your town. No account, no persona, no made-up neighbour in Sandton. If you are lighting a fire, say so. Midnight SAST the map goes cold and starts again. National Braai Day is 24 September, Heritage Day, every year — the planning kit has the shopping list and the timeline.

The heat

Nobody has spoken yet

This is today’s SAST slate. It is empty until a real person taps.

The country is quiet on this page. Be the first town, if the fire is really going.

The rules of tonight

No accounts. We do not store your name.
No fake people, no AI neighbours, no “someone in Joburg”. A tap is a person at a browser.
One honest tap. The function rate-limits a connection; your phone also remembers the day.
Midnight SAST — 00:00 in Johannesburg, Cape Town, Durban — wipes the day. Tomorrow is a new fire.

This is the live board. Short introductions in Afrikaans and isiZulu point here — the count itself is this page, in English, for every language.
